Hearing Aid Manufacturers
A question that people who want to buy hearing aids often ask us is: 'What is the difference between a manufacturer brand x or Y (resellers)?' A common misconception is that they are the same, but that is not the case, a hearing aid manufacturer is a company that actually manufactures the hearing aids. They are also responsible for the design, new developments and will have the license for the products. The reseller is the company or person who sells the hearing aids, however some manufacturers are also resellers.
Hearing Aid Manufacturers
Signia stands as a global frontrunner in the realm of hearing aid technology. We are passionately committed to transcending conventional boundaries by introducing groundbreaking innovations that redefine the prescription audio industry. For us, it's about offering more than just the ability to hear; it's about ensuring every word, rhythm, and breath is heard clearer than ever before. It's not just about recapturing sound, but embracing an enhanced auditory experience.
Founded in 1956, Widex is headquartered in Denmark and was the first company to develop a digital hearing aid for placement inside the ear. They are also responsible for the development of the first hearing aid for babies.
